Site movage

Being sick and tired of the way this site behaved on my other host, I moved it over to DeziWeb. I’ve also been hosting tanin.nl on DeziWeb for a few weeks and so far the performance has been an impressive improvement compared to Neostrada.

Elections

(Yes, I know it’s a bit late, but I really…really…had no time.)
On July 27/28 2004 I was watching Barack Obama giving his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention.

Right after watching his speech I blogged “first black president: Barack Obama fo’shizzle“. Last month fo’shizzle be real. Word. His team ran an incredibly well thought out, innovative and immersive campaign that captivated the world and re-wrote the book on campaign strategies. He has so far put competence above partisanship and personal relationship in nominated his appointees (this includes a Nobel Physicist to be Energy Secretary). As I wrote in 2004, I see a bright future for this man.

Entertainment

Also, I can’t wait for season 5 of Lost….just can’t wait…need..some Lost…content…..to bridge…the waiting.

Meanwhile I’ve been watching The Big Bang Theory, a sitcom about smart people. A breeze of fresh air in the anti-intellectualism filled mediascape that has had the entertainment business in a chokehold since mob-rule became of a form of government and by proxy the means with which economics, technology and development is steered in direction.
