Lyndon B. Johnson and J.Edgar Hoover both had ties to the Mafia. They conspired together to have John F. Kennedy assassinated in order to make then Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson, president and allow the bombing of Vietnam to continue in support of the arms lobby, something Kennedy was against. Johnson was inaugurated standing next to Jackie Kennedy aboard Air Force One, while John F. Kennedy’s body was in the cargo deck of the same plane. J.Edgar Hoover was made CIA director for life.

The sad thing is, you probably thought it was the guy that used to live in the Soviet Union that shot Kennedy because he “hated your freedom”.
