15MayAmericans Online

This is a quote by a member of startrek.com. He also claims to be an “Intelligence Specialist for the US Navy son”. He wrote this in a topic in which someone complained about the negative attitude that some American Star Trek fans have toward the recently cancelled “Enterprise”.

CaptMcClain01:
“let me simplify this: is anyone really suprised that a troll started a flame post (bashing Americans on a STE board which is irrelevant to anything on here) and is now getting responses from either Americans (the really funny retorts that make sense) or people from other (third world, been saved by or is being saved by the US , and the jealous) countries???

Pause, and think. With people like our short sighted, uneducated, patriotic extremist “Intelligence Specialist for the US Navy son” making comments like that, no wonder the US is the laughing-stock of the world.

The US is a young country with its people acting like teenagers. It feels vulnerable and apparently is very insecure and distrusting of others to the point of hatred. Maybe the US should be taking out of the UN, and be put back in once it has reached maturity.

15MayMPAA hitting hard at online viewers

Suing one BitTorrent site after another, the MPAA is trying to strike a hard blow at viewers that watch their television shows by downloading them from the Internet, instead of recording them on their 30 year old VCR’s.

Here’s to the morons at the entertainment industry that can’t keep up with technology, the saddest group of greedy old corporations and their business and government backed institutions.

The only group they’re striking a blow at, is themselves. Sadly, they don’t know it yet, and by the time they do, it’ll be too late.

I hope your stocks become junk bonds and your ad revenues plummet. Maybe then you’ll wake up and smell the ashes of your demise and realize your mistakes.
