Hand job | When minds collide

I came back from my operation about 2 hours ago. There was a ganglion in my left wrist that needed removing.

The weird thing is, I had to wait for 3.5 hours before the op started and when I woke I thought to myself “damn, I’ve been waiting so long, I must have fallen asleep.”

It took me a moment to realize after looking at my wrapped up hand to remember that I already had the operation done. I remembered walking in the op room, lying down on the op bed, the anesthetist plugged a needle in my arm and hooked me up to the ecg monitor.

Last thing I then remember was asking the anesthetist how long it would take the anesthesia to kick in. He said “right ’bout now…”. The op must hav taken about 20 minutes judging from the time.

I’m back home now, feeling slightly drunk.

Typing is slow and painful, but I managed to write a little php snip today. Since I’ve been getting so many spam comments lately from the same people, advertising everything from viagra to online poker sites, I decided to write in a new feature that allows me to activate “comment screening” on all posts at once instead of having to enable it for each story individually. It is currently ON.

oh, shit. that really sucks man. you know how the fire got started? and how bad is the damage?

I just came back from the hospital. they changed my bandages. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of my hand while they did it. i’m still feeling kinda woozy and tired. It doesn’t look like much but my entire hand hurts like hell. Damn painkillers don’t seem to work on me.

damn those stiches look bad! try without painkillers and it will hurt more :p

Were not sure how the fire got started, im supposed to find out today, but I think its a extension cable or something cause thats all we had on that place where it started burning.. Damage is minimum but the whole place is smoke damaged, which means first they will clean the walls n studd and then we have to clean our things.. My books, my cds are prolly gonna smell for a while =/

and im not sure how smoke damaged my screen and comp are =/ and I was just about to get my broadband.. just a few weeks away =(
