25NovBush on Eminem: "the most dangerous threat to American children since polio"

I bet most sane people will argue that Bush is a better fit for this description. Oh, well…Just in case you people have forgotten what freedom of expression looks like, here’s some footage from Eminem at TV Total.

Eminem’s reaction to the following:
Stefan (the host of TV Total): Did you ever have contact with Michael? (Jackson)
Em: Sexual contact…with michael? no, no, no, no..!
(*audience laugh*)
Stefan: …Maybe when you were younger…

You can watch the full thing here.

PS: This was the second time in one year Eminem visited TV Total. On both visits mooning the audience. In case you have question as to why he did this, it’s because he can. Religious fundamentalists forbid acts of this nature in his native America.
German viewers on the other hand, took it with humor. No one was offended by it in any way.

24NovLove The Leader or DIE Billboards

North Korea’s Kim Jung Il has them, Iraq’s Saddam Hussein had them, the mullah’s in Iran have them…every dictatorship has GOT to have these -it’s in the “How To Dictate” handbook-…and now…George’s got some too.

bush billboard - george w bush our leader

On my way to work Wednesday morning, I looked up and saw a giant billboard with a picture of George W. Bush and the words “OUR LEADER” under it. The first thing I thought was, when was the last time I have seen a president on a billboard? What is going on? Didn’t Saddam Hussein have his picture up everywhere? What next, a statue?

I am so concerned with our country and the division. I still stand by my vote, which was for John Kerry. George W. Bush has a lot of work to do to change the way I feel. Putting him up on a billboard does not make him a better president. His actions speak louder than words.

I wonder if anyone else finds the president’s picture on a billboard odd? I’m sorry, but it reminds me of countries with dictators, and it seems people are making him out to be the messiah, the savior of our world.

Fear, fear, fear. I’m tired of being afraid.

23NovJFK Assassination Game Goes Online

jfk killing gameThe “world’s first interactive recreation of the John F. Kennedy assassination” claim the makers of JFK Reloaded; An online game where users can play the persona of Lee Harvey Oswald -after paying the sum of $9,99- and reply the events that led to the death of the assassinated US president, John F. Kennedy.

The person to match the fatal shot(s) that hit Kennedy best, can claim a prize of up to $100,000, the website reads.

I personally believe the makers took a wrong turn somewhere during conception. This could’ve been made and marketed to be a detective story style investigation game with multiple outcomes depending on the players actions or even a historical computer simulation.

As to the distastefulness-factor, it of course depends on who one asks. Ask anyone on the street and of course most people will find the idea repulsive, but ask a gamer and you’ll probably hear more sobering comments like “boring after a while” and “poor graphics”.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a number of high profile game houses were currently developing a Bush assasination game as the international market for such a game, given the “political climate” is currently HUGE and growing by the second, to say the least.
