What the fuck are leaches? I just want to download the song, so I can listen to it. I still intend on buying the record. Where can i find all these downloads, which unfortunatly have been removed due to “leaches?”Peace…

I call them leeches, but they’re also called “leechers”. They’re people who use other peoples files on their forums, websites, blogs, etc by directly linking them or using them into their sites. In this case, it’s a number of people (around 30 people at last count) that were using the files here as background music on their guestbooks and fuckin’ myspace accounts and shit.
The reason why this is a “bad thing” is that basically every time someone visits their site/guestbook/blog, etc, they load the large music files that are on my server and use up my expensive bandwidth while doing so. Basically leeching the bandwidth from this site by GigaBytes per month.
Unknown to many people who use free adpaid services like myspace or blogger, bandwidth actually costs money. Some sites pay for the bandwidth and internet services by showing ads on their pages…I don’t do ads.
I have no problem with people comin’ here to download music that is offered on this site with approval of the record label or artist the music is copyrighted to, but leech the material from another site using my bandwidth and the game ends there.
